Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Adapt - Fitness Tracker app and website ("Adapt"), operated by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], India. By creating an account or using Adapt you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Adapt.
1. Who can use Adapt
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You must give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. What Adapt provides
Adapt builds workouts from the equipment you say you have, records your training, shows progress and offers tools such as step, water and movement-break tracking, reminders and short stretching routines. Some features depend on your phone, such as Health Connect and notifications.
Suggested weights, workouts, calorie estimates and other figures are estimates. They can be wrong, and they are not a substitute for professional advice. You decide whether and how to follow them.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use Adapt only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers, or use it to harm others.
- Do not use Adapt to store material that is unlawful or that belongs to someone else without permission.
4. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to provide Adapt to you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data at any time, see Delete your account.
5. Our rights
Adapt, its design, text, exercise content and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. This does not let you copy or resell it.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Adapt running, but it is provided as it is and as available. The service may be slow, interrupted or changed, and it may take a short time to respond after a period of inactivity. We may add, change or remove features. If we introduce paid features, we will explain the price and terms before you pay.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Adapt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Adapt is provided without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the figures it shows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of Adapt or from following a workout or suggestion, or for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Adapt after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where the operator is based. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in India. This does not take away any consumer rights or protections that apply to you where you live and that cannot be waived, including any right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country.
